You think that's bad. At my UNIVERSITY lecturers have been asked not to give feeback on white paper, but instead to use cream paper on the advice of the equality and diversity group!
Utter nonsense - I refused to comply flat out.

Well, until people start saying, errr No, I WILL call him/her Lollypop Lady/Man, things won't change. They will just get worse. I will not conform to all this PC crap and will continue to say what the heck I like

It might just be the teachers trying to play b*llsh*t bingo with the touchy-feely managers, PTAs and other power-heads.
I'm waiting for them to denounce the term "Junior school" as being inappropriate as it makes younger children think they're not as good as those in other schools.

Centre politics is killing the land... I will tell my spawn that its a lollypop lady and the sex of the head will determine what they are referred to. So the politicians can call them what they like, but me and my spawn will always refer to them by their proper terms...
And so say all of us ;thumb:

The only thing is to strike up regular conversations with the plonkers and deliberately use all the original British terms at every opportunity. If every parent does that it will eventually wear the idiots down.
Welcome back Gene baby, hope you had a good time.

On red nose day at our youngests primary school this year, instead of letting the kids dress up and wear their red noses etc, which they all look forward too, they deceided it would be a good idea to bring someone in from a different religion to give a talk on their faith for 2 days.
I was a little p!ssed at this to say the least so confronted the HEADMISTRISS who said that they have to have someone in from a different religion every year as part of the coriculum, funny that, have never seen anyone in before especially on a day that the kids look forward to every year.
I spoke to a few mums etc and knocked up a petition which most signed and the plan was not to let her to go over the two days as i dont want my kids to have anything to do with this particular religion unless they want to learn about it later in life when they understand then thats up to them.
Although they had signed and shared my views none of them would take the same action as me as they didnt want to rock the boat and basically didnt give a sh:t so long as the child was at school and not under their feet.
Oh forgot to mention the school wanted £5 per pupil to pay for this, needless to say mine stayed off school. I was even threatened that i could be fined for keeping them off school as this is against the law. Try it was the answer. Heard nothing.
