feel ill today, any tips
i feel really ropey today, all aches, and pains, and totally un corordinated,
had to come in work today, as my immediate supervisor has been of for six weeks and the others in the section are hopeless.
can anyone recommend any really good medicines, as i didnt sleep a wink last night and feel awful
(i dont normally take anything at all but i need to today)

You have flu.
Flu strength Lemsips are probably best.
A home made hot toddy when you get home - A whole lemon juiced, a shot or two of whiskey or cognac, a tablespoon of honey and topped up with hot water -much better than Lempsip but not good when at work.
Drink plenty of water and try and grab some fresh air to help you sleep later on.

I've been passed on something too, felt like someone had punched me all over when I woke up this morning.
Feel much better now just a normal head cold to get rid of.
Loads of people have had it, think it's just the norm for this time of year.

Snap. Been feeling crap since mid-afternoon on Friday (which was my birthday - what a day to get ill). Feeling boiling hot one minute, freezing the next.
I'm not getting any sympathy from my other half either!

finally got some day and night nurse, sleeping ok, and headache still there but bearable, but going to the loo, wow, its like throwing a jar of picalilli down it, dont know if thats side effects of tablets, or because im ill
