Default I need a financial data analyst... or someone who wants to be one

I need a data person for my fixed income and derivatives team. it's got to the point where we have enough work coming up that we're getting a little desperate.

so...
if you want to work in zone 1 (40 yards from goodge street on tottenham court road) and pick up fixed income, equities, otc derivatives and all the analytics (as a financial data analyst), then this is a job for you.

we'll consider graduate level and excel and some SQL experience to a fixed income guru.

Nowt wrong with that. If I thought I could get my vacancies filled I'd post too. But I can't fill a £600 per day post using a recruitment agency so Snet is unlikely to come up trumps.

I dealt with a fairly good financial one a few years ago... um, buggered if I can remember the name of it though.

P.S. You're not a chef then?

Would you consider a self-employed chancer with a 10 year old Accountng and Finance degree who needs some structured paid employment? Bailed out of a back office fund admin role 8 years ago.

Chefdude - would you really want to recruit one of us, knowing full-well that we spend all day long on here not doing an ounce of work?

As long as they get the work done we don't really care. If the successful candidate has no financial experience though they will be working quite hard to catch up

Have you stuck this on Jobserve??

I have never done FI Front Office, it always seems to be a requirement on some of the jobs advertised.

I am a DBA/Data Analyst into Data Mining, Olap and all that stuff, Oracle Certified, SQL server DBA with good SQL experience. Fairly confident with Excel programming.

J4CKO, I think you'd be better off in your usual £100ph contract roles

we wouldn't pay that much.
