Really annoying thing is that I know someone who all those "new rules" apply to. Even after talking to them about it till I am blue in the face they still won't change. Its always the same...
Approach roundabout, look to see its clear.
Just about onto the roundabout, hit the brakes really hard.
Every single time, every single roundabout.
She is a menace to all around her, number of times I have seen her scatter cars is just unfunny.

Chap i worked with (we shall call him Pat as this is his name) left work, on his way home - hit someone at a roundabout. The person did just as the new rules suggest. For agrguemts sake we hit call the person Pat hit 'Anus'
Next day after work
Pat with left work to meet up with Anus, exchange details and see if Anus wanted to get his car fixed privately - if the price was right.
Anyway same roundabout, same thing happened, Pat rear ended another person who did the same thing.
Oh how we laughed when we found out.

About a hundred years ago, I was with a boyfriend in his car, waiting at a roundabout behind a white van (!). White van moves off, boyfriend follows, white van slams on the anchors halfway across, boyfriend rear ends him ( not in a pervy way). Reason?......another car was coming round the roundabout, and the van driver didn't want to put his foot down, because his tools would slide around in the back!!
