looking at lanzarote

anybody advise somewhere where they have been that will keep the kids and adults happy

needs to be a good "kids club"

Lanzarote has nothing to offer. Very disappointing. I understand Tenerife is better, but be careful which resort you go to.

Probably worth looking elsewhere.

went to the Hotel Sol Lanzarote earlier in the year ! Kids club was excellent ! Worth a look & only a cab from the main lively area.

Hotel had good restaurant & Large pools & the beach was just over the cycle path & lovely.

Quite close to the airport but didnt bother me !

Try Playa Blanca. I've been there a couple of times and it's very nice. I can't offer advice as far as the kids go, but there were plenty of families there when I was over there. Nice beaches too.

Can't comment on Hotels. I always go self-catering.

Mate is going in September to Puerto Del Carmen area for an all inclusive.

I love Lanzarote. Sadly my current Mrs knows I went there with an ex-Mrs so that pretty much puts paid to going there again.

I like the caves, the volcano, eating food cooked over the volcano, the white crab things in the cave in the big house. Theres a cool market every Wednesday but you need a car to get to it. The place that looks like the OK coral. The green/blue lagoon. Being ripped off for Amethyst on a bit of wood as souveniers

Was a while ago so can't remember the names of places but I really like it.
