It's a case of nimby for me. If they were proposing to build one in St Helens I would be very vexed. As it is to be in Landan I care not, unless it sets a prescedent...

Someone signed the petition for the Mosque "I will if u support a non muslim faith church/synagoge in Saudi arabia"

Hell will freeze over before that ever happens, so much for their integration and welcoming of all faiths

There are already several Christian churches in Saudi Arabia B20, although I'm not to sure about synagogues

I do know Iran as a sizeable practising Jewish population, if that's any help

And there is an Anglican Church in Baghdad. Interestingly the vicar there was at a peace conference in the new year and was told by a Syrian that the next big threat to the UK would come from the NHS. He passed the info on to the home office!

I tried to vote for it as Osama Bin Laden but it would not have it, shame, i thought it might add colour and weight to the petition, love some of the responses!
