Just received this in an email and if it is true as snopes suggests, I reckon we should try and follow their lead,

Have to say I agree with that. There was a case in Toronto in a last few years where they were trying to introduce Sharia law and it was rejected on the grounds there is already one law of the land and there is no need for another.
I would like to think the UK would take this kind of approach, there is one law of the land, follow it or leave. Very simple and very clear. Intergrate with the country you live in or leave, do not try and make the country bend to your laws, you should bend to theirs, if you cannot or do not wish to, then leave.

I think you'll find a lot of people who agree with the comments but won't speak up for fear of being branded, and it's going to be the majority of people unfortunately and it's probably for this reason that this won't happen in the UK.
It's not calling for people to pick up arms against those who oppose our law, it's calling for people to integrate with our existing culture and not try and change the existing culture. Oh, but it's singling out those who want sharia law, so that's very naughty and cannot be allowed because we've all got to get alone with each other. Yes, we should all get along with each other, but not to the extent where the existing laws have to be changed or supplemented to appease others.

i would understand their point of view if they themselves admit australia isnt their country and also if they had given rights tae the aboriginal people and didnt steal their land and enslave them
and regarding shariah, thats for a muslim state not the western world unless the west converted tae islam, then its is fine but if it isnt, u cant
u should read a book by an awesome aussie called john pilger
its called new rulers of the world and theirs a chapter on aussies and aborigines, if u r a human it will make u cry doesnt matter whit colour u are

mate i agree u cant impose a shariah law in a western country, first of all the muslims should get the muslim countries in order and practice justice and get rid of corruption and evils in the muslim countries and set an example so others will take heed
but shariah law is cool, i will pm u something an old prime minister of australia said aboot the shariah, he meant the true shariah

a few yrs back a muslim scholar a texan called sheikh yusuf estes debated wae aussie priests and ministers and this ex pm woz their, very good man, he shocked everyone and he also did a speech in the islamic conference in denmark last yr after the cartoon affair

Would be great if we actually had a political party that was both moderate and prepared to say that. They would get so much support it would be untrue...

u know i feel so gutted, i typed a massive post for here and it woz so nice explaining it all and the screen froze up , it took me ages tae type
i feel so gutted so didnt wanna type it again lol
i had this prob for a couple of weeks, i did a virus check and adware check it didnt find any viruse and the adwares get deleted
why does the explorer freeze suddenly

So Just because 'they' do not want to learn 'our' language,therefor they should not come over here?!...what has that got to do with Sharia law?..
This thread could go on for ages,but we all know that there is always going to be runts in every corner of any given religion,so its nothing to do with being racist,to bring stability in any nation,laws are created to be abided by...But for one religion to stand up and say..."Bullsh*t it happens this way,bollocks to your law",That is where the buck stops and intervention is required.
I say create a new island(Not to disimilar to Australia!)and bloody send them there(not all of them just the ones who want social seclusion from the law of the land!)
