Black Kiwi Shoe Polish
I've got a funeral to go to next week, need to touch up my ammo boots and nowhere in town has any.
Yes. This is as interesting as my life is at the moment..

Well after all the complaining about not enough new threads I might make a couple of gallery ones of my clean engine bay. Rivetting viewing that will be I'm sure....
Funeral is a week today so I'm not going to depend on Ebay! I'm just going to have to plod around half of Norfolk tomorrow to find some; loads of places have Kiwi parade gloss, but that has vegetable turpintine in it, and I don't fancy putting that on beeswaxed boots
And yes, they're Army clippy-clanky ones.

i found this just in case
Alternatives to Using Traditional Shoe Polish
* Take your leather Boots, Shoes or Jackets to a shoe repair shop to have them cleaned and polished for you.
* Rub your smooth leather goods (not suede or NuBuck) with the inside of a banana peel (test this method first on a small spot of the shoe), then buff and shine with a soft cloth or rag.
* Olive oil or walnut oil works for smooth leather as well. Work a small amount into shoe, and polish with a soft cotton cloth. Again, try this method in an inconspicuous spot before using the oil on the entire shoe.
