Suresh, there is a huge difference between an MBE and an MBA

If you don't know that, how the **** did you get an MBA in the first place

I was offered a credit card by MBNA once if that's what we're on about?

Stevie G deserves his MBE though, after all he's played professional football for almost 10 years

"Steven Gerrard knew he'd have to go to London to stand any chance of getting a medal"

Thanks to YNWA for that one

Can't help thinking if he worked as an office tea-boy and their paths crossed that his other half wouldn't have given him even a second glance.

Captain of Liverpool, earns £100k a week....great.....a little bit ugly....who cares !!!

She's a bit of alright is Alex
She is partial (allegedly) to a bit of a ruck when she's been at the alcopops though

Unfortunately she suffers from the same affliction as Kerry Katona and Shrek's missus All illusions are shattered when they speak

Amazing how little value they put on a MBE

Was watching the news last week and the guy who spent 20 years building up the Monkeyworld monkey/ape rescue sanctuary dies of cancer before he can recieve the MBE he was awarded in 2006.

Footballer who gets paid £100k a week to a job, then gets one for nine months obsecenely well paid work.

I don't pay much attention to who gets these kind of accolades.

It still amazes me how much praise we give to sportsmen / women and their vacuous pass times when little consideration is ever given to people who devote their whole careers to the continuation of scientific discovery but nonetheless receive little accolade despite their achievement having so much more positive effect on mankind than kicking an inflated pig's bladder around.

Many moons ago, MBE's were given to such people.

They are now used as yet another political tool to influence the masses.

Over paid footballers and their illiterate bimbo wives who think the world revolves around them, totally de-values the medal in my opinion!

.... and to think the military, police, fire service, nurses and the like have to dedicate their entire adult life to their profession in order to get a whiff of an MBE..

And some nonce kiss-baller gets one for kicking a bit of plastic around for 90 minutes a week.. yeah.. well done..
