So is this on or not? I've just ordered a chinese and bottles of Miller are in the fridge, but I'll come down for a blether once I'm fed.
I'll check back in a wee while after a couple of scoops.
BTW drumgelloch are selling MGD @ 12 for £8. Works for me!!!

Change of plan for me, I can't organise transport, mainly to get me home at short notice. We should maybe plan this in for next week.
Sti-04, it is in Whitburn on Blaeberryhill Road, or also known as the Whitburn by-pass Turn up the hill at the Hilcroft Hotel at the East end of the mainstreet and it's about 3/4 mile up that road on the right hand bend

i am taking it up 2morra when i finish work @ 12ish, its "drive" and i dont no what he got for for it but he did give me wait for it 18.5k for a trade in its a 03 (8 months old) & all i have done is got light pimp tints & changed the boring & bland stereo to a pioneer thingy (thats to go into the the mrs laguna so she can blare westpoofs out loud)
I think i will miss it but i think i am going up to another level with the sti, & if i enjoy the sti i probs will be a scoob owner for a long long time but then again u never no !!
Though the mrs is all set for a 330ci this time next year !!

That is a great trade in - it is a nice car.
The STI is a car you will probably feel special in and you are unlikely ever to see another on the road every 5 seconds like a Focus.
The RS is very distinct (what is the original retail on one? I take it there is a waiting list hence the high trade in?)
Drive will no doubt be shifting it on for £20k plus as well as their customary £2.5k profit on the STI (plus any options).
Hope it gets to them safely - are you without a car then for 10 days or so?!?

i take it you didnt go to the blaeberry ??
The rs retail if i can remeber right at 20k, well thats what i paid, as far as i am aware the wating list is 3months for a new one & they are soon to stop producing them.
I did look forward to gettin it (i got a cancelled order) & waited only 4weeks but it was like the standard ford stereo "bland".
As for the car situation they offered me a ....................... rover 25 courtesy car but i declined & said thanks but no thanks i can use my recently allocated company mondeo (blah) for the next few days !!
They did ask me to help them out & i did
it is nice to be nice though i doubt they will ever remember me when it comes to me requiring a favour !?!?!?!
whats happening with yours ??

Boot floor repaired, lights fitted, rear quarters repaired and new boot fitted but they can't get a bumper until middle of next week. Bummer. I had hoped to get it back soon but it will be the end of next week before I get it I think so the 1.6 Focus it is until then.
What do you do for a living?
Blaeberry - maybe going shortly for a couple if I can persuade the missus but not really into going on my Pat Malone!!
I doubt Drive (or most dealers) would return the favour after a sale - it would need to be a good favour to be remembered ie putting 25 car sales their way or whatever.
Brian.
