Its stupid - someone was killed on a level crossing - so lets not show something that warns people of the dangers of level crossings!

I think that's exactly why it was withdrawn mate. I thought the tone was entirely appropriate; most of these kind of incidents are, quite frankly, caused by idiots who deserve to be patronised!

The facts surrounding the incident in Scotland haven't yet been published AFAIK: it could have been a signal failure, I guess, which would be a tradegy.

Even if this was the case though, I'm still not sure withdrawing the episode -without even acknowledging the reasons why - was the right thing to do.
