ANY AIRFIELDS TO USE
#5
There is also Dunsfold Park, where they film Top Gear.
I know that the Lancer Register used them for a track day, but i believe it is hard to get events sorted there. I tried a while ago, but didn't have much luck.
Definately worth a try though.

Halavington (spelling?) is one that does track days from time to time and its in Wiltshire not far from Swindon. Quite an easy motorway drive to get to from Surrey and its a pretty good one.

Ford airfield isnt suitable for car stuff afaik, it isnt very level, and has lots of businesses running from there.
is it for car driving or the airfield you want it for.
Goodwood has both, but if i recall its 5K+ to hire the track

Yes they did run a day there - but I seem to remember it was very ££££ - and think they had to book almost a year in advance...

Places like Goodwood (98dB) and airfield tracks (100dB) tend to have low-ish noise limits so you may struggle with your Cerb. "proper" tracks like Brands Hatch, Thruxton etc. will be better for this as theirs is 105dB+
You'll preferably need a properly organised one, if you crash or end up stuck, you'll need the safety crews, tractor to pull you out, flatbed to take you back to paddock etc.

Also, people will pull out etc. so someone(you) will end up out of pocket if you organise it.
Just book yourself on a trackday, tell your mates where and when so they can book as well, this'll sift out the ones that really want in and those that are just saying as they like the idea of it etc.
