Which air field was it you had fun at (mail me if you have more info), I'll have to find it myself?
Now that topgear don't let tiff out for long, there should be more space on the airfields anyway!

R.A.F Cosford just outside Wolverhampton.A.few years ago. Was watching some gliders. When they packed up. Idrove on .Nobody around "Full on" plenty of run off.The one in wiltshire is just off the A4 just after Avebury going towards Devizes. No name, not that good condition.Heard of a few "Sneaking" on to R.A.F Wroughton.

Do you mean off the A4 between Avebury and Calne? The A4 doesn't go to Devizes.
The only airfield around there is the long-dead RAF Yatesbury; I didn't think there was any tarmac/concrete left on that at all...let alone anything to drive at more than 5mph on.
Can you give a few more hints? I'm close by, up at Lyneham: 7400' of quality tarmac, sadly infested with bloody aircraft

The Big-Up-Massif-Worcester-Posse were hoping to organise a blast soon, hopefully around Throckmorton (spelling?).
Unfortunately it seems MAFF had the same idea.
I guess it'll save money on cones...
