Current mobile phone deals - is this any good?
Sony Ericsson W810i mobile phone | UK contract phone deals | Buy Online from The Carphone Warehouse
Anything better out there? My current deal is about to end as a former employer has just realised they never took my work phone deal off me when I left (personal phone but heavily subsidised line rental by the employer).
The above works out at £9.99 a month although you pay £30 a month and then at the end of each quarter they refund £80 back to you. Apparently cheapest straight no frills line rental is £19.99 and no free phone so thinking above is actually quite good?

DO NOT i repeat DO NOT buy a mobile on contract from these robbing bar stewards!
The missus had a vodafone contract through them with a cashback by redemption offer, however the bills must be returned on a certain date to the address on your original invoice, the address being the one that is smudged over by the branch stamp we are in month 10 of her agreement,so far she should have had 3 redeption payments,to present we have received a grand total of naff all
but, saying that she contacted vodafone direct in month 5 and refused to pay anymore monthly payments as they were in breach of contract for not sending the redemption payments,so the contract is no more and the missus replaced it with a t-mobile nokia 6280 with a free x-box 360 and 6 months free line rental(18 month contract)so far so good

echo the above - these 'redemption' deals are set up in such a way the network provider/retailer hopes that only a small % will a) remember to fill in and send the required forms b) do so in the 'correct' way.
would check the small print v. carefully.

Hi mate ..I just got the same phone from T Mobile shop...really good deal...their Flext 20 tariff is now available for £15 per month on an 18mth contact.....this gives you £34 per month of credit to use...suppose it depends on your usage though but that amount is enough for me..
and best of all no relying on these poxy cash back redemption offers..were you get a contract for only 50p per month as long as you send the forms back within a 30 second time frame in a purple envelope upside down in the rain..or other such terms and conditions...
