Outside shelter?
Pal of mine is after some sort of shelter to protect his workmen from rain when they use power tools for outside contracts. So a sort of industrial gazebo around 5 x 3m. I will spend some time on Google but thought I'd ask here if anyone has any practical experience. TIA. dl

Thanks POC, appreciated. Trouble is the weather is against us at the moment so he'll have to invest in some tie-downs. dl

Yes, I use cheapo homebase gazebos over the summer, my last one got destroyed a month or so ago when the wind got under it, pulled off the guy ropes and turned the whole thing into scrap
I shall be investing in one of the heavy duty/commercial pop-up gazebos next year, very handy thing to have, keeps the sun/rain off of us and the tools.
I rekon you could find the pop-up ones cheaper on ebay etc, dunno if the quality would be up there with the ones on the above site though.

I own a few smaller marquees which I hire out - hence the call from a pal for advice. Mine are fine for a summer's day but aren't up to winter storms. I read in the local paper that a 15 x 15m marquee went AWOL in last week's wind. Certainly with gazebos generally speaking the more you pay the better the quality. But I did suggest e-bay and if he wrecks it then it wouldn't have cost him a fortune. Anyway he charges enough (pool construction to the hoy polloy). dl
