Brilliant film, borrowed a copy of a m8 at work, watched it last week. I will be going to see again at the cinema, and buying it on "proper" dvd when it comes out
Great storys, fantastic filming and cinemaphotography, lovely ladies
Awesome how the film was actually like reading a graphic novel, really came across well.

Knowing that the stories would have to be cut down for time, Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller shot them ("The Hard Goodbye", "The Big Fat Kill" and "That Yellow *******") in their entirety anyway in order to be completely faithful to the source material and as a feature for the planned DVD.

im watching this right now
grab the rerip of the dvd screener (the sound is in sync)
i leeched the xvid then re authored it to make it a fully compliant dvd
and anyone who winges about piracy etc

Finally got round to wtching this on DVD last night. Awesome film, just when I thought a Rodriguez film couldn't get any more violent

Great film. Got the US R1 Extended and Recut DTS version. Great extra showing the live filmed bits with greenscreen at high speed before the CGI was added. Almost the whole film is CGI, with hardly any real sets.

Loved the concept, hated the execution. The slow, smouldering voice-overs just didn't work - for me the film just dragged, despite the amazing visuals. I was really disappointed.
