So, got your decorations up yet ?
So, we now have a seven foot pine tree in our living room, smells fantastic !
Looks great, big bushy ******, normally we go a week before Christmas and get the left overs but we went early ths year and got a lovely really bushy one, a really good stand that saved me two hours to put the undersized one on, whittling away till it goes in, and another two trying t get it straight.
Bought some blue LED lights, saw them, picked them up and had to have them, forty quid for some lights but I wasn't putting them back, no way !
So 100 quid lighter the guy takes the tree to the car (people carrier), the wife then says,
"Do you want to stick it in the back or go on top"
obviously this is a priceless moment and cannot be igonored so I just said
"Oh, you are just such an old romantic"
The Garden centre bloke went bright red, and stuck it in the back.
So, all is well, tree is up and looks great, kids are in bed, I am a bit drunk, no work till wednesday, Kasabian concert tommorow night and a duck in the oven for tea

This year I have invested in some Blue LED 52mm lights for the down light fitting's outside, it looks really cool & discreet.
Nice touch with the white ice-icles
