anyone wanna go skiing/boarding
#1
looking for a potential group to go skiing/boarding preferably in french alps in jan/feb.
seen some good deals on last minute etc but just wondered if anyone else would be up for an impromptu blast. Some have even suggested driving down there.
would gove me a chance to lock the diff I suppose.

Funny you should mention this Adam, I'm just having a look what's about as well. I'm trying to sort it out for a group of my mates and some of my sisters mates to go in Jan.
Can you recommend a few resorts for us. Age Range 20-26. I haven't been for a few years so I'm a bit out of touch.

I am no expert, man to speak to is mossman.
Last minute seem to have some incredible cheap packages to courchevel 1850 which is part of the three valleys, in my opinion the best resort I have been too. Also has access to numerous range of pistes. It does seem great being 100m from a main lift. Only problem is it will be basic, but who cares if you get to go skiing.
They also had lake tahoe in january for £350 for a week!

Adam,
Have you considered going in late January and combining the skiing with spectating at the Monte Carlo Rally ?
I'm thinking of doing this myself, and would be interested in joining up with a group of scooby fanatics if anyone else is interested ?
Andrew.

Swore I would never go to Europe again after going to Banff / Lake Louise in Canada.
Very similar pricing for hotel/flight, better service, better instructors, better hotels, better people, better lift queues, better snow and mountains....
I might be stuffed this year though, as I hope to be about to buy a house, and I now have to pay for the family to ski rather than just me. Anyone else limited to half-term time (when the prices are higher and the queues more annoying?)
