I am looking at getting a new telly. It will be a 32in Widescreen, but i was wondering if anyone has any advice on what to get.
I was looking at the 100Hz Sony Wega's as Sony always have had good screens. I am gonna get a copy of What Hifi today and see what they advise aswell.

Have a look at T3 Magazine this month - it has a review of teh latest 32" widescreen TV's I think the Sony came a very close second to either a Panasonic or a Toshiba (I think it was the Tosh) but mainly due to it being easier to use (fiddle with) and having dolby digital and DTS.
When I get home tonight I will confirm if no one else knows.
Cheers

just bought a Sony Wega 28" and love it!

Just bought the 36" Sony WEGA.
FANTASTIC.
Dolby Pro Logic, 100HZ, twin tuners, the dogs bo77ocks.
Well worth the money, it might even make me stop in to watch the telly occasionally now.

I've just brought a JVC 32" WFT1.
They've been around a while, are only 50hz but for under £700 I think its a steal. And the picture/sound quality puts my mates 100hz Sony to shame.
Its only Nicam stereo, but if you are doing things properly you'll probably have an AV amp anyway.
cheers,
Dela

My advice would be do a search as its been thrashed to death on here, I've a 36 Panasonic Tau. If youre looking to do it right e.g. for DVD then Pro Logic or DD on TV doesn't matter as you should get an AV AMP with DTS and 5 speakers, this is the biggest impact on whole sound performance

Im going for an AV amp so onboard dolby/dts is not important.
I was just wondering if its worth paying for the Sony screen, but from above the JVC is also one to look at.
