Blonde James Bond
What is it with everyone being so against a blonde James Bond? I've heard no end on comments saying he is a great Bond even though he is "blonde".
Surely this is pretty much the same as saying someone is great even though they're a negro? Which would be pretty unacceptable.
Surely the merit is in whether he carries the role well, by all accounts he does with some critics saying Casino Royale is up there with the best Bond films including Connery's ones.

Reckon the point is that Connery and his successors all had dark hair. People hate a change !
More important is that Daniel Craig's an excellent actor and the film has been getting rave reviews.

I suppose it would be like a white Shaft, just wrong, not racist, just a case of a character being typically one thing or another and thats what we get used to.
Could get my head around Ford Prefect being a black guy in the Hitchikers film, didnt do a bad job but in my mind Ford Prefect was a slightly odd white bloke.

blond james bond is just a change, odd cos u just seen all the other actors with black hair, but i have to agree ( in a totally non racist way ) that a black james bond just wouldnt work, the character has been white for too long u counldnt imagine him being played by a black man however good an actor he was!
