Question NTL on demand

NTL's new service 'on demand', can someone explaine it to me in laymans terms please


just in case any of you are wondering, i am not attention seeking

...and is it any good?

its not exactly a new service... basically its watch re runs of TV programs youve missed through the week and watch newly released films for a charge

watching stuff like Top Gear is free yes. can pause and rewind too. only thing you really pay for is the films

Its been out for over a year now

yup. anything thats been on telly over the last few weeks on the BBC is watchable IIRC.

maybe you never left the PC and went to see if hes been?

They don't have every single programme available, only the more popular ones, like Deadenders, Spooks etc - you're unlikely to get neighbours.

There's not usually that much free stuff on there to be honest. Usually about 15-20 programmes on BBC 1 for example - normally 3-4 of those are Eastenders.

It's certainly not all BBC programs by any means.

I missed Have I got News For You and thought that might be on it, but no
