NTL digital tv
#1
im getting the ntl package on friday- broadband, telephone and tv. ntl want £10pm extra for a 2nd tv box if you want 2 tv's hooked up. is it not possible to run the signal from the ntl box through a splitter and feed it to 2 tv's that way (i appreciate this might mean you can only watch the same thing on both- but would suit my needs)
anyone know?
Tiggs
ps- cant wait for b/band because this thing is slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Certainly is possible you dont even need to split the signal just use the scart out to main tv and run the uhf where ever it needs to go, like you say though can only watch one cable channel at a time.

si,
errr, i must have drank more buds than i thought, despite your lovley pics im still confused- unbelivable i'm sure!
the uhf comes from the ntl box and goes into the tv "aerial" socket, right?
so where does the scart go from, i understand it goes in the back of the tv but then where to? the tv upsatirs?? i'd need a 10m scart lead (got a pic of that )
or
does the scart lead go to the ntl box?? im confused.

Tiggs,
What you have to do is :
1) plug one end of the scart lead into your NTL box and the other end into the main TV (or VCR)
2) Plug one end of the coaxial cable into the NTL and the other end into your second TV
This is what Ive done at the moment, which is a right pain in the ar$e having to run downstairs to turn the channel over. I'm sure I got a leaflet through the door tonight offering a second box for £5. Hope this helps
Mark
PS - You wont be dissapointed with your new cable modem either
