Home remedy
Have been feeling crap all week (and no, not the up to the elbow in U-Bend way) struggled through work today, when I really didnt want to be there. So decided on the way home to sweat the bugger out with a bottle of scotch.
So, now feel better (although for the wrong reasons) and am faced with another bad day at work for another reason.
so, what is better, flu that is uncontrolled, or hangover that is self induced but for the right reasons?

An update
Managed to get through half the bottle, went to bed about 11pm after turning up the heating and setting the timer, put a DVD on and got myself up to the neck in duvet.
I guess I must of overdone it somewhat, as I woke up at 6.30 this morning with the bedroom window open and laying naked on top of the bed shaking like a little puppy having its first poo.
Have a slight hangover but do feel a little better, so not a total loss I guess.
And to answer some of the above, I take Vit C every morning, don't touch medicine of any kind, not been to the doctors for medical reasons in over 18 years and prefer red wine although the rose is an accetable option
