Default Upcoming midterm election in the U.S.

Curious to hear your thoughts on the upcoming midterm election in the U.S. Looks like it's going to be a rout for the Democrats. Hopefully they take back the Senate along with the House and put the brakes on Tourbus U.S.A. that Bush is driving off a cliff. I've been waiting six years for this kind of sea change and can't wait to vote on November 7.

Is anyone talking about this election over there? What are people saying?

I think it's safe to say that there is little or no interest over here in American politics.

Apart from when they had the counting farce in Florida a few years ago.

Sorry to be pedantic but "Rout" means "put to flight, defeat utterly" which I don't think is exactly what you meant ***

But as above not much interest here. Mr Bush is not flavour of the decade generally. How can you respect a man that can't even talk properly?

*** sorry - may be a bit harsh. Let's just change "for" to "by".......
