Blackberry / push email mobile alternatives
Need to bite the bullet and get a push email enabled handset, but need something that is pocket friendly.
Not bothered about a camera.
Current choice is narrowed to:
Sony Ericsonn M600i
Blackberry Pearl
Blackberry 7130G
Anyone used any of the above and share some opinions?
thanks
Ed

have an SPV C600 on orange.
just like a modern phone (bluetooth, 1.3 mp camera etc etc) except it run on windows mobile OS so has full email type capabilities. It's a work phone for me and connects up through MS exchange server so you can get emails 24/7...should you wish.
Had an XDA II in the past.....like a brick!. this baby is phone size.
Hope this helps.

I know the one. I've got the C500 currently. It's a good phone but fancy something a little sexier / different.
The M600i is certainly the prettiest push email phone around!

Previously used an XDA, good as a PDA, rubbish as a phone.
Now got a number of 7130's and loads of 8700 (Blackberrys), both good for e-mail, not so hot as phones, 8700 easier to use if you do a lot of mailing, 7130, has two letters per key so, only easy to use if you are used to texting, small and phone like. Horses for courses really, don't think there is any device that does it all brilliantly !.

We've just got the BlackBerry Pearl's at work. Easily the most 'phone like' BlackBerry. It is only GPRS though and not 3G like the latest traditional Berry's.
The comments I've had back from the guys using them are very positive. I wondered if the screen was too small, but they seem to like it. The joystick on the front pad takes a bit of getting used to. The keyboard is also smaller, but again, no one seems to be struggling with it.
Just bear in mind that this is effectively version 1, so I would expect a few things not to be perfect.

Recently got a Blackberry Pearl as my new work phone and its excellent. The keyboard takes some getting used to as its 2 letters per key, unlike the old Blackberrys
The 7130G looks rubbish compared to the Pearl - and is a fair bit bigger. Pearls tiny and very slim. Just looks like quite a stylish regular phone!
Ive also got a C500 which is still a good phone IMO, but does feel old compared to the Pearl, and the screen is smaller.
