Default Airport Security.....

.....is a complete joke.

I blew a boost pipe off this morning at the entrance to Gatwick Airport, and was unable to get it back on again.

Was stuck there for almost an hour, and in that time how many police vehicles/security vehicles drove past me????

NONE

So much for all the security measures in place.

My mobile was dead, so was hoping for a nice chap to come to my rescue. Didn't want to just leave the car sitting there.

Not as dodgy as the car was sounding!!!

Had the MAF sensor off this weekend (aswell as the boost pipes), then first time i put my foot down there was a bang, awful misfire, and smoke out the back.

Was very glad it was only a pipe.

I was just sitting there thinking it was the bottom end gone. Was a relieved to see it was just a pipe.

Was really good of the guy to stop, was just amazed to be sitting there for so long thinking 'police will be here in a minute'

You should have revved it again to get a couple more misfires.

You'd have had half the Army round.

You wouldn't have been helped home, but you could buy a new car from the insurance claim after the old one was blown up.
