Recommendations for a hotel in Leeds close to the Railway station?

Default Recommendations for a hotel in Leeds close to the Railway station?

As above ,going to have a weekend in Leeds this weekend.Dont mind if it is any of the lodge's,i will be driving down,just need to stay close to the Station as i have friends living near there.

the Queens is right next door (shabby last time I stayed) or there is Hilton nearby

recommend you get on lastminute or webhotels.com

Cheers Varboy,just booked the Hilton.£123 for a night.Tiss ok though Miss Speye is paying,all i have to do is pay for the shopping and beer when were ther,think i have been well stung

try the crown plaza. 5 mins walk from station with good parking

There is a travel lodge too, if you are on a budget, about 5 mins walk away

I stayed at the Queens many years ago and it was shabby then! It IS close to the station though.

Stay at the Jurys. It's not that far away. 5-10 min walk. but it's in the best area for bars and clubs.

try the ibis hotel,it has only been built about 1 year and is easy to find(end of kirkstall rd opp Yorkshire Post) and is 5 mins away(walking) from the train station but still in the centre..£50 per room ish

Cheers for the help guys. The Hilton it is,it has a playstation so maybe insteaad of having a smoke after sex,i may just have to play on the ps2Also a buffet breakfast on the Sunday ,just to kickstart the hangover.

Erm, dont mean to **** on your bonfire, but parking & Leeds City Centre...

Id check that, and also purchase a map for the leeds city loop if you dont know leeds

Has the Hilton not got a car park?,also David i know leeds quite well as i have been working there alot lately,and i have my trusty sat nav.

Marriot hotel is new and behind the station, last time I stayed there it was £85 online booking (lastminute.com) inc breakfast.

+ underground secure parking
