Question Car Chases

Just watching the car chase sequence in Ronin right now and how the hell do the choreoraph driving against the traffic on a motorway?

In seriousness tho, I have often wondered how they do some of these driving against the traffic

Not sure if the making of that is on the ronin dvd, or on the commentary for the car chase sequence, it is a fantastic bit of action

Remy Julliene (sp?) is how they do it, or his company. It is all pre-planned out, amazing to say the least.

buy the dvd its on there. very interesting documentary about the car chase setup on it. british cars used with F1 and rally drivers and the actors miming.

I think it's down to a flash of the lights, the oncoming cars either flash or not which tells the stunt driver which side to pass on.

it has been reported that the Police are no longer allowed to chase criminals in case they get injured through lack of adherence to health and safety regulations!

Where do they get these plonkers who make these sort of pronouncements?

Yeah, what he said... I think that Remy was one of the first guys to drive a lorry "on two wheels" but I could be wrong.
