I think an ISO is a cd image, try burning it onto a cd and getting rid of the .exe extension

Hello

As stated above, it's a CD image.

If you get rid of the .exe and then open it in your CD writer software it should be able to burn the image onto a CD.

Thumbs up

You need to rename the file to a .iso only (i.e. remove the .iso.exe extension).

If you leave it as ?????.exe then any MS operating system will treat is as an executable and it ain't.

You can get some free utilities that extract .iso images (a bit like Winzip).

I've downloaded a few .iso and didn't bother bunring it onto CD; just extracted it onto my hard disk using said utilites and ran the install from there.

You can get Undisker from here http://www.undisker.com/. It's only a 30-day eval, but it's full functional and works a treat !

dont know whether you sorted this.. but use adaptec easy cd, as I had the same problem when burning redhat with nero... just didnt want to know, and when it did the cd was half working and half not working... (I know that doesnt make sense, but I know what I am on about!)
