Visit the Avon Gorge Hotel. Huge Georgian pile in Clifton with a beer terrace where you can sit in the evening sun overlooking the bridge and the Gorge. It's spectacular.

Your best bet is the Waterfront - Lloyds bar is a good bet, as is Pitcher and Piano next door. Oceana is just around the corner, and thats a club.
You could also try Corn Street - theres a Walkabout and Slug and Lettuce, and not far from there theres a Reflex if you like a bit of 80's! Also a good pub called CC's which is a Weatherspoons so cheap - good place to start.
