What went wrong
I just made some cheese scones............and they are ******* horrible I spent ages on them coz I've never made them before, I made some bread the other day which was gorgeous, I can make pies and cakes and biscuits, and cook dinner, but I obviously can't make scones, it all went to plan so I dunno what went wrong, my daughter won't go near them lol neither will my hubby. Is there some art to making them or am I just crap

Whats the matter with them - dry, solid, tasteless, crumbly
All of the above
Also is it a fan or normal oven. All makes a difference. Best way to make scones that are light & tasty is to buy scone mix. And yes, I was a chef.
