Question Trousers for fat knackers?

Is it me or are all the trousers in M&S for fat gits?

I don't go clothes shopping very often, maybe twice a year, but the last two times I have been I have really struggled to find a pair of trousers I like with a 32" waist. They all seem to be 34,36,38+. I only want standard chino type trousers and out of an entire rack there is maybe only one pair with 32" waist and then they are too long or too short!

Now I consider myself average... It must be an absolute nightmare if you are skinny as I honestly don't think I saw a single pair 30" or below.

What is up with that? Is the nation really becoming that bloated?

And please, don't tell me to go to some poncy fashion shop instead..... M&S I can park, get in and out in 10 minutes and pick up lunch while I'm at it with minimal pondlife interaction!

I would say that 32" is the most popular size and has been snapped up.

Nice thread title BTW.

I considered that but if that was the case then the rack would have only a few pairs of very large sizes left and large gaps where the 32" pairs were.... but instead it is consistently full of very large sizes.

I suppose it is possible that the person responsible for stock ordering at this particular branch is a moron which is why I'm asking if anyone else has noticed the same elsewhere!

Ok, well you've made yourself known. lightning101, aging git, 40" waist and bitter with it. Look on the bright side, if you need trousers to fit your ample girth you can go to M&S!

Hey if you want to be judged differently then you should behave differently. If you reckon that to require trousers of an average size you have to be 14 years old then what do you expect people to think?

Fat knacker. That's what we think!

If they are average size, then you'd be able to buy them anywhere

SUSAN: You know, I really like those new jeans Jerry was wearing. He's really thin.

GEORGE: Not as thin as you think.

SUSAN: Why? He's a 31. I saw the tag on the back.

GEORGE: The tag, huh?

SUSAN: Mmm-hmm.

GEORGE: Let me tell you something about that tag. It's no 31, and uh...let's just leave it at that.

SUSAN: What are you talking about?

GEORGE: He scratches off a 32 and he puts in 31.

SUSAN: Oh, how could he be so vain?

GEORGE: Well, this is the Jerry Seinfeld that only I know. I can't believe I just told you that.
