What went wrong
 

I just made some cheese scones............and they are fcuking horrible :( I spent ages on them coz I've never made them before, I made some bread the other day which was gorgeous, I can make pies and cakes and biscuits, and cook dinner, but I obviously can't make scones, it all went to plan so I dunno what went wrong, my daughter won't go near them lol neither will my hubby. Is there some art to making them or am I just crap :confused:

Also is it a fan or normal oven. All makes a difference. Best way to make scones that are light & tasty is to buy scone mix. And yes, I was a chef.:norty:

All of the above, atleast the rabbit likes them, probs thinks its a stone for his teeth. We have a gas oven, bloody hated it for the past 3 years, roll on May when I have a nice new electric oven, never have a prob with them.
Like I say I can make everything else from scratch and it will turn out great.
