Default National insurane....is it poss to 'opt ot' of paying?...

I am employed and pay NI contributions.....I have heard that it is possible to 'opt out' of paying NI, as you simply forfeit the right to a state pension........is this true?...how would you go about opting out if this is at all possible....?...

You can't "opt out" of paying NI - you can opt out of the 2nd state pension (or whatever it's called) - But rather than having your NI money invested by the robbing b@st@rds at the Tax office you have to invest it with a Personal pension.

IFA will be able to give you more details.
