Tell me i'm not the only one with this problem!

Whenever it comes to sorting out the washed/clean socks, i always end up with about a dozen SINGLE socks!! Where's all the others go?

I chucked all mine away last year and brought a dozen identical pairs. Now I just pick up any 2 socks and know they'll match.

Each new washing machine comes with a sock drawer, out of every wash, your machine will select, at random a sock or two from some of the pairs, and secrete them in it's sock drawer forever.

my mum and dad had this exact problem, they couldn't understand where all the socks were going, after about a year my dad took the washing machine apart. lo and behold there was nearly 50 socks rammed under the metal bin that spins round!

Actually, did you ever notice that when you have to barf, there are always carrots in there, even if you never ate them ?

That's what happens to socks, they get transformed.

Another one of life's little mysteries.
I have pondered on this many a time but all I have to show for it is half a dozen odd socks.
A possible solution would be to buy a pair of boots and then you can wear odd socks with impunity.
