Lookin on the bright side though, was an ideal oppertunity 4 a photo shoot Plod was standing at the back of me when i reached 4 the camera so I decided against it

Guys, you just brightened up my nightshift. That is a very quick stretch of road, I think I may have spoken to, or rather, been spoken at, from your new found friend a couple of times in recent years.

Glad you stayed out of trouble as they are not all like that. The meet at Ayr had the T5's hunting us down after 'good citizens' doing their duty reported 10 cars racing. Not me, eh Andrew!!

you'd think some folk would just mind their own lifes and not try and be a pest....nearly started an early morning rant.

Sam / Pete,

"Racing" on the highway itself is quite a serious offence. What sort of stuff did they say to you. E.g. did they try to get you to admit that you were racing etc? Was the Discovery waiting for you, after all it wouldn't have caught you?

Yeah the discovery passed us as I had 2 stop for fuel
Funny like coz when I saw it pass I said 2 Sam "bet they`re sittin down the road waitin. Didn`t matter like cos we were only doin the speed limit anyway
The plod was ok actually, sounded like he was as p155ed @ havin 2 stop us as we were about gettin stopped.
Was actually quite refreshing to talk 2 a plod that didn`t try givin me a bunch of attitude an a lecture they aint all bad.
Hell he even cracked that "if i hand`t stopped 4 fuel there was no way he`d have caught up with us"

Like I said though eh, no harm done, just some **** wasting Sam`s,
my and a police officers valuable time
As we all know neither of us condone or participate in racing on public roads, as anything like that is illegal & should be kept for on the track or the strip

he actually asked me if it was a new motor and if i was testing it out? at this point i told him i am was not speeding!! and he shouldn;t have tried that line!!!!!!!


i did not think he was being nasty but to be honest he could not he had no proof. and i think stopping us was actually nasty enough. i also said that next time i see a nice car i will just phone them and report them speeding
