I've got me a new R/C Helicopter and .....
............ it's BRILLIANT!!!!
Cannot fly it yet, but had it up to eye level - scared the crap out of myself so dropped it to the deck sharpish.
Hovered it for about 20 seconds, the longest yet .....
I've had it since last night - I'll get there eventually!!
It's GREAT fun!!

The FlyBar Carrier has snapped already I think it had a fracture when new, the supplying Model Shop says it didn't!!
I've glued it up and it's flying again - but looks out-of-balance now.

77 Year Old man in Decappitation shocker !
In a terrible accident today a Mr Percival Shirley Lewis of the town of Scoobynet was involved in a mishap with a radio controlled chopper (a helicopter that is), his head was severed cleanly at the neck. According to Mrs Lewis 'He didnt even stop talking, didnt even break his flow'. The head was put in a bag of frozen peas, Mrs Lewis said that doing this in Iceland was in hindsight a mistake, the head was recovered 3 hours and 2212 bags of peas later, it was thought that the head had begun to decompose but the family said it smelt just as it always had.
Surgeons worked through the night but the body has rejected the head, the head rejected the body and they both rejected the food.

i belive its the easiest to fly out of all the fixed pitch mini helis, but eveyone says the small ones are harder to fly, better off with a raptor .30 nitro engine, having some lessons,

I have had it hovering but really struggle with which way to put the sticks when it is pointing anywhere other than away from me!!
I'm sure it will become natural with a few hours of practise?

However, I have glued the broken bits and they are holding up - I've glued them about 20 times now!! .......
I have made up a stabiliser aid - balsa wood and ping pong ***** - but, I'm not sure how to fit it to the skids as the battery will be awkward to get to!?
Anyway, it's great fun hopping and skipping it in the lounge ........ it's hovering

pete, its easy, if you remember when the heli is flying to wards you, use the control stick to prop up the balance.
ie: move the stick under the side of the heli, you need to lift.
even a daft duffer failed engineer of your inferior intellect should be able to work that one out.
anyway, i'd have thought something a bit less of a plastic toy would be more suitable for a multi-millionaire playboy like you.

With those twin contra rotating blades it should be so stable in the hover that you should be able to leave it hovering and go and make a cup of tea, should still be flying when you get back
Get youself one of these and really test your skills
you won't be able to fly it in the lounge tho
