If you have stuff to share then DC++ is excellent for everything.

If you are worred about sharing illegal stuff - you don't need to - I share music videos and tv shows n stuff but allows me to get whatever I want.

I used Kazaalite, but recently wanted the first Green Wing series. I tried eMule & managed to get the whole lot. The eMule system seems to be more supported these days than Kazaa.

Shirley everyone uses allofmp3 for that? I don't see the point of stealing music if you can buy it legally for 20 cents a track!

Depends. That's fine for commercial stuff but I tend to want obscure remixes - defo need to use DC++ and certain music forums for those. I suppose this isn't illegal anyway, the person making the bootleg is the illegalist

Happy New Year EXSCOOBY! I was wondering where my favorite Personal Assistant had gone. In this case my help isn't needed, there are plenty of legitimate downloads available via all of the software mentioned. Keep up the good work though, you're special.

Kazza and the Kazza lite network have been taken over by the BSA (Business Software Alliance). They are monitoring and tracing IP addresses in the hope of securing convictions both for the illegal sharing and downloading of copyright protected materials.

Emule is the overall winner i would say, everythings on there to download, the only draw back are the speeds and when all the decent servers are full.
