Fuel Efficient Taxi

Apart from the fuel issue its a perfect taxi, Japanese, reliable, four doors and cheap to buy, its only the 20 mpg that means that we dont see them in every town centre by the thousand.

A mate of mine used to do delivers in his. He would cover maybe 40 miles doing 120 deliveries at a quid a delivery. Tenner for petrol and 110 quid cash in your pocket 6 days a week isn't bad - it would certainly keep you in tyres and insurance.

I used to deliver as well - on average you would get about 6 deliveries per run. Anyone further than 2 miles from the chinese had to pay an extra 50p and wait, so sometimes you would have to drive 5 mile round trip for £9.00. Used to make a massive amount on tips. Anything up to 80 quid a night.
The chinese had about 5 drivers, so they split the locality up. As the orders came in they would give a time based on the next expected run to that area. It wouldn't be unusual to get three or four deliveries to the same street, so an average of 0.3 miles between houses would be realistic.
