Can anyone reccomend a good recovery company?
Right then, my corolla is ready to go to the garage, but lacking the power of forward motion, I need it put on the back of a lorry to get there.
Tried my nearest one (just up the road from me) and they wanted 100 quid to take it all of 40 miles to Watford! Thats over 2 quid a mile!
If anyone can reccomend a recovery company nearishto Staines who wont pull my pants then I'd be very grateful.

Seems to be the going rate these days, I had to get my GTxx recovered from my place in West Sussex to Catford, all of 45 miles, ended up costing me about £120, and that was the cheapest I could get it, must have rung round 15 recovery companies.

A mini cab costs £1 a mile. Hardly surprising that an HGV with your car on the back is in the region of £2 a mile. Last time I had a car recovered it was about £70 to get it taken 5 miles up the road. That was Lantern Recovery.
