Which *****, precisely? And why?

You can get decent quality switches, but you then run into problems with making them an exact fit, and getting the wiring connectors to fit and match up.

Whether they are any better quality than the OE ones is up to you, really.

well ive upgrade the gear
**** and reverse thing to raceseng and its alot better quality than the plastic standard and id like to upgrade switches from
plastic to metal ideally for a better quality feel, also looking at getting some alcantara done inc steering wheel. i doubt anyone makes custom switches but i thought you never know lol

Not come across any, but searching might find some.

The perennial problem will be the connectors at the rear.

Bear in mind that many car manufacturers use the same accessory manufacturers. If you remove the window switches from your car, you'll find they are branded Nissan.
