I had that for exact same problem. Made life a misery, I couldn't type, couldn't serve at tennis, couldn't support myself when "on the job" etc
Sorted out with one course of acupuncture followed by a liberal dosage of standard Tabasco sauce.
Try the Tab sauce first. On both left and right shoulders.
Don't make the same mistake as I did though - rub your eyes and scratch your bollox ~(or equiv)

I had a look at the website out of curiosity and found this
http://www.powerballs.com/world_record2.html
PMSL looks like an attempt at the world speed wanking record, is it the technique, seemed rather starnge when he started shaking violently....
Not cheap though at £24.99, could be interested if it helps my reoccurring Tennis elbow
Group buy??

Dunno about them. I had this BAD for quite a while. I was told to sleep with my arms in splints - that did naff all. Only thing that worked were injections in each wrist and in the end I had the op. 15-mins, local anaesthetic and job done. No computer or driving for a fortnight afterwards though. Had one hand op'ed and the other injected.
Op was about a month ago now and wish I'd done it ages ago.
Decided to have it done after I moved house. Carrying and DIY (drill etc) caused it to flair up bad. Never, ever felt pain like it. Agony in the night.
My advice: if it doesn't clear up see the doc. Get either jabs done and that'll give relief for a few weeks. Ultimately the op is a doddle though.

Without turning this into a 'my pain is worse than yours' thread , I can safely vouch that dislocating my right shoulder, twice in three days is unbelievably painfull - spending the next 5 weeks with my arm in a sling ain't much fun either

They cut the cartilidge at the top of the carpal tunnel so that it relieves the pressure on the nerves and tendons and stuff. They make a small (say 1.5 - 2ins cut in the heel of your hand - mines right on the lifeline). And cut through the tunnel. This relieves the pressure which stops the PAIN!
I was in the clinic at 8:30 and home by 2. Arm well wrapped and stuff but that was it. Small scar is all that there is to see now. It's a bit numb round the area but that's it. When I think of all the pain I've had I wish i'd had it done ages ago.
I planning on getting the other hand done immediately should that ever flair up again.
meant to say.... the reason that it hurts even more at night is coss when you lie down your blood has a tendancy to pool in the limbs this increases the pressure on the nerve and more pressure means more PAIN!!!!
I can sympathise. When it flairs up at night I used to get up and pace around the house till the pain eased then back to bed for an hour, then back up for a walk around again.... process repeats. In the end I tried everything but the op sorted it.
Thye consultant even offered to let me have a look as he was working away. Needless to say I declined. I can cope with blood and guts. Just not mine.
