read it in one day last week. thought it was quite good. sad ending though. any other on here read it? do you think the series is suitable for 8-10 year olds to read?

That book out of all of them is the least suitable for young children. more like 12 years +

i would have said so as well. 12+ seems to be about the right age. my nephew is 9 and he loves the movies, but he is now on about reading the books. i think he could cope with the words ok its just the content that i am worried about. young minds n all that. hope he doesnt get any ideas.

I read it all on the day it came out. I dont think the content is wrong for kids as my 9 year old read it in 4 days and was encouraged to finish it by his teacher so they could have a discussion about it. He wasn't scared or sad about any of it and is looking forward to the next book.
