Default Audi A4 TDI

Considering one of these's mile-munchers , any forum's I can get some more info ? , Looking at a 52 reg 130 tdi sport 53000 miles , are big milage's a problem ? any thoughts , opinions, comments to put my mind at rest before I commit myself

53000 isnt big mileage. I sold my golf tdi, which has the same engine, for basically what i paid for it. Thats after putting an extra 10,000 miles on it. 90k on the clock. Even 90k is not big mileage

Great cars. Spare parts, however, are the only ones I've come across that make BMW seem good value.

VAG 1.9TDi is a well proven unit. A4 similar to most VAG cars of the time, do everything OK but ride and handling not best in class and steering is a bit lifeless.

51 Plate Octavia 1.9 diesel just sold on ebay with 295000 miles.

Should be a few miles left in the A4 yet.
