Default Old MINI

My little bro has a J reg mini... which is great fun.. but it has a switch on the dash that kinda looks like a foot peddle with someone pressing it, it lights up when you press it but wont stay on, What the hell is it ?

It's to check your brake fluid, if it does not stay on your brake fluid is fine if it stays on......hold on
Cheers

Remember, it probably doesn't work anyway - it's a Mini

Could be the MAF sensor warning light. If it doesn't stay on it's bad news I'm afraid. Big ends (if you can call them that on a Mini!) will be knackered and probably a few holes in top of pistons. Turbo will have long ceased to function. Still rebuild will soon sort things out

The light is your brake warning light, if you press it and it lights up, you know the bulb works (test function)
