When tellys go digital....
Have the government thought about what to do with the millions of defunct tellys that will be thrown out shortly? Remember, it all starts in a few months time.....

I doesn't start in a few months time. The switch off of the existing analogue services is due to start 2007-8 IIRC. And anyway old tellys will still work fine with a Freeview box attached

According to Ofcom these are some of the dates for the digital switchover starting:
2008: Border, Westcountry, HTV Wales
2009: Granada, HTV West, Grampian TV, Scottish TV
2010: Central, Yorkshire, Anglia
2011: Meridian, Carlton/LWT, Tyne Tees, Ulster
