Do a search on www.ebuyer.co.uk
I picked up a canon MV700i (which will work bullet cam etc) for £240. I think it was from the digital camera company actually. Again do a search under that name.
It is my second canon and very very good. x18 zoom, all the bells and whistles and under £250 new. Jobs a good un.

Double check prices against pricerunner, kelkoo, froogle, etc, as when we were in HK back in October, the prices were about the same as a good as a cheap online retailer in the UK!
I bought a brand new Panasonic camcorder, retails for £400 in the UK, cost £240 new online (with a free carry case and tape)! Saw the same model advertised here on SN for £200 secondhand!!
I bought a Pentax 5Si in HK, for about £240 which is what they cost here (ebuyer) but we got a 256MB card, Pentax carry case and spare battery for about £40 more. Swings and roundabouts really. We only bought the camera because we needed one and that there was an international warranty with it.

Really depends if your going to use all the stuff that these big expensive bad boy cams have on them. Personally its point and shoot for me, with a big zoom. I can record, I can download, I can upload from a bullet cam / other AV device I can watch on the telly, I have remote control what more is there in life????
I never ever read an instruction manual so if its too complicated and expensive it aint for me

Internet is much cheaper generally mate ........ Use one of the biggies like pixmania or digital camera company and check out their offer section. Either that or go into town find what you want then come home and trawl the net for cheap bargains
