Default Blooming mobile phone thread again, sorry

I have cancelled my Vodafone contract through Singlepoint so I can go onto Orange. My partner gets a good discount through his work, so it's really beneficial to me to do so - much to the annoyance of Singlepoint!!

Anyway, I need advice on the best phone for me. I would like a camera if possible, as well as bluetooth connectivity - for the entertainment value if nothing else. Would prefer it to be available "free" on Orange pay monthly.

I am asking because I have always had Nokias, and I am unimpressed at the moment with their range on Orange. I know nothing about any other brands, so any help would be appreciated.

TIA
Clare

If you can't get the above at good CHEAP prices, the Sony Ericsson K700i is a cracking phone.

I'd go with the Samsung D500 as well.

Personally, the only Orange phones I'd go for would be the Nokia 6230 or the SE K700i. There is a nice SE phone on the horizon, but I don't know when it's going to be available on Orange.

So, the choice is:

Nokia 6230 (looks a bit dull!)

Nokia 7610 (is it really a brick in disguise though?)

SE K700i

Samsung D500 (never had a flip phone before)

Opinions on which one please?

My brother's got that and I just bought the Nokia 6630. The 6630 is 10 times better than the 7610

K700i is an oldish phone now. 7610 is too bulky, but is a good phone.

Leaves the small stylish samsung D500, very nice phone and probably the best on the market at the minute.

Thanks guys, still not 100% sure the Samsung is the way to go. Does it have predictive text like the Nokia phones, i.e. it saves words that you type in yourself if it doesn't have it stored? I know a friend of mine had to write it out every time and it got on her nerves.

My daughter Hollie comes out as Inklie...... I mean, WTF? It would bug the Hell out of me if I had to write that every time I mentioned her!

Avoid Motorola whatever you do. They used to make great phones once (back in the analogue days), now they're just disposable tat. Even the A835, that I first thought was an attempt at a solid piece of kit, has proven to be unreliable.

Nokia are also unreliable in my book. They're more interested in bringing out a new model every week to profit from the chavs who change their phone as frequently as their pants. Many are full of software/design bugs and they're also overpriced.
