Good K700i deals on orange.
Hi peeps,
I dunno if this really belongs in this forum. Anyhow im at the end of my contract in a few days. Basically I rang orange to disconnect as I intend to go to payg. However they bribed me with the offer of a free K700i on 2 hours anytime any network for £20. Not bad I thought but the whole reason for changing was to save some cash. Anyone know of a better deal that has a few txts and cross network with a meg or two of gprs ?
Cheers

o2 have wised up and increased the price
was much better up until last month, as orange would match it then.
They still will ,but as 02 have revised it its not quite as good a deal.
Online 200 is the one to go for- despte the recent 5 quid price hike

Hope you don't have a bluetooth handsfree, K700i is the pits in this respect, drops connection, freezes, all down to rubbish firmware, I'm with Vodafone (for now) and they acknowledge the problem but blame everyone else of course, when I asked them to upgrade the firmware in my phone as that seems to resolve things somewhat I was advised "to take it to London to be done", great customer service, sim free phone here I come. So basically I have a phone that cannot be used with bluetooth hands free unless I break the law ... sucks imho. BTW Vodafone are reponsible for the firmware in their branded K700's as are Orange so they can't pass the buck to SE this time although the core code is SE's of course, lots of history on a variety of forums about this.

I got 2 K700i's on Orange, recently. Threatened to leave onto the O2 300 text PAYG, so they offered me:
My phone:
500 mins x-net anytime minutes
free K700i
£25 a month
Wife's:
120 mins x-net anytime minutes
free K700i
£15 a month
I don't think that's bad.

The K700i is quite an old phone now. Has been around a good 9 months already.
The samsung D500 is probably the best on the market at the minute
