Thinkin of gettin one of these any good/bad points and do you have to subscribe or is it by choice?

Although you don't have to subscribe after the initial free period, the GPS 'locators' such as the s3 will be crap if not regularly updated.
theres s3s for sale on bigpockets quite cheap iirc. the guy that owns bigpockets comes on here as well, so maybe you could ask him?

Take a look at http://www.buy365.org/speed_camera_detectors.htm bought a couple of s4s from them for £429. Ordered over the phone, arrived the next day. Top fellas on the phones, keen to do deals.
